Hi, Stephen! I’m sorry I had to get your attention this way, but I don’t think your Tumblr has an ask function, so yeah, this was the only way I could think of to talk to you.
Anyway, in this picture, you mentioned, or implied, that you were studying teacher education at Pitzer. How did you go about studying education there though, since Pitzer doesn’t have an education major or minor? Was this an independent study or a special major?
And if you are pursuing one of those two, what made you decide to attend Pitzer, as, again, Pitzer doesn’t have an education program? Are there other ways in which it’s strong in education, such as through its extracurriculars?
Sorry for all of these questions; just let me know if I’m asking too much since I know you’re busy. It’s just that college sites try to present the best side of themselves as possible, and since Pitzer isn’t well-known, not many people can offer genuine insights into it. In short, it’s not very common to find a real student to ask tailored questions to. I love Pitzer so far and am thinking of applying as a transfer, but I’d love as real of a picture of it as possible.
